The three levels to our overspeed training consist of the base bat, which is 20% lighter than your game bat. Next is the green sleeve, which is 10% lighter than your game bat. Finally is the fully loaded bat with the black sleeve on top of the green, making the full bat 5% heavier than your game bat.

Our overspeed and counterweight training protocols are organized into Training Cycles, walking you through the process of gaining maximum bat speed. Each cycle incorporates multiple levels of our progressive training protocols.
LEVEL 1 OVERSPEED TRAINING
Start with this protocol to begin gaining bat speed right away. Designed to optimize your Velo Training, this protocol involves swinging the Velo OverSpeed base bat, first sleeve, and fully loaded bat in a series of drills on both your dominant and non-dominant side.
Counterweight training involves coupling the Velo Puck with the Velo OverSpeed system. This significant shift of balance point on the training bat will greatly help bat plane, bat delivery, and help extend the plane longer through the zone.
